Originally formed as ‘Restoration Decade Alliance’ on  World Environment Day 2021 to support the goals of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, the name Nature Restoration Alliance Australia reflects the ongoing imperative to extend restoration ambitions far longer than the end of the current decade.  Our commitment is to help ensure that Australia’s efforts to restore the integrity and resilience of biodiversity are sustained for the long term.
